FBC Sanctuary choir and children choirs and their leaders choir are made up of volunteer-believers from all walks of life, backgrounds, and circumstances who come together to rehearse, worship and serve. For us to deliver our best offering to the Lord in song, we must be diligent and faithful in our attendance at rehearsals and services. So we may best represent our Lord to others, it is important we conduct ourselves with an attitude of reverence and holiness. So we may be a light unto the world, it’s imperative the world see the Light in us.  

Choir members develop life-long friendships through singing and serving at FBC but what makes relationships more meaningful is when we spend time together. The choir has been blessed with opportunities to perform, tour and to serve locally

There is nothing like being a part of the family of God and serving Him in the Sanctuary Choir of FBC. 

Before becoming a choir member, every member was first a visitor and visitors are our most honored and cherished guests. We strive to make each visitor’s experience the finest. Visitors are warmly welcomed to attend any choir rehearsal or Open House. So that we may well-care for one another,a new choir member is mentored by the entire Sanctuary Choir group making a new member’s transition into choir a smooth and successful onboarding experience.

There is always an opportunity for musicians and those who just want to make a merry noise

The purpose of the music ministry is to praise God as we provide excellence in music. This includes musical training, education in music, and performance of music. The selection of music is varied in an effort to meet the needs of the congregation and provide interest and encourage musical growth in the participants.

The music program includes the following groups:

• Sanctuary Choir
• Hand bell Choir
• Pre-school Choir
• Children’s Choir
• Ensembles – We are always open to new groups forming to help lead us in worship!

• Handbell Choir

• Pre-school Choir Rehearsal Sunday evenings, Room 208 6:00pm – 7:15pm

• Young Voices of Grace – Pat Price, Leader / Linda Lee & Denny Vanderpool, Missions LeadersRehearsal Wednesday evenings, Room 304 6:00pm – 7:15pm (Includes missions activities – GA’s & RA’s)
